The radio business is not the very profitable enterprise it was during the 1980's and 1990's.  Radio station revenue is down as advertisers have many more options where to spend their money to reach an ever more fragmented audience. 

Consequently, I could be back on the air in this market, but I would either have to do the shows for free or else, buy the time and personally obtain sponsors to defray those costs.  Neither option appeals to me.

Anyway, our weekends are usually spent with horses. My wife and daughter are Eventers (the equestrian discipline that includes dressage, show jumping and cross country jumping). My son and I are the official photographers for several of the recognized shows in this area and we do private shoots as well.
